Join us for a lecture by Dr. Jennifer Morgan about gender, capitalism, and slavery. Dr. Morgan’s remarks will focus specifically on Elizabeth Keye and the gendered political economy of Atlantic Slavery. Her new book, Reckoning with Slavery: Gender, Kinship, and Capitalism in the Early Black Atlantic, will be released in June 2021.
