The Humanities division at Antioch College seeks candidates for a full-time assistant professor of literature (Tenure Track) position starting Fall Quarter 2021. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Literature, Comparative Literature, or English. Preferred onsideration will be given to candidates who specialize in the British and American literary traditions, but who may be able to complement our current faculty with offerings in comparative, international, or transnational literature, in gender and sexuality, or race and ethnic studies. Evidence of successful undergraduate teaching in literature is required, and the ideal candidate will have experience teaching creative writing and/or first-year composition. Qualified MFAs are welcome to apply.
