Position Description:

Baylor University seeks an Assistant to Associate Professor of Sub-Saharan Africa to start August 2023.

The Department of History seeks a specialist in sub-Saharan African History to teach both undergraduate and graduate courses in this area. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a research and teaching agenda appropriate for an R-1 institution and a willingness to seek external research funding.
